It all started when I went to Voodo night club back in late 2003. I saw the people dancing there and really liked how they looked on the dance floor and started thinking: "I wish I could dance like that."
I started taking classes at Latin Street Dancing in 2004. Back then, I just thought about taking a couple of basic classes so I could learn just my basics and I would be happy with that. So, as I kept taking classes and learning new stuff, I got more and more into dancing and started going out six nights a week at a point.
A few months after, I was approached by a then member of the Latin Street Dancing performance team (Seyto James) and he invited me to try out to train and perform with the team. I auditioned and made it into the Latin Street Dance Company in late 2004. Soon after, I was approached by Lisa "La Boriqua" and got invited to teach with her, in the company where I took my first Salsa Steps!
I have been teaching and performing ever since. Currently I am part of the Latin Street Dance Co. administration, Instructor, and performer. I tell my students that if I learn how to dance, anybody can. I hope to see you on the dance floor!
